What landed on my desk this week…
It’s been a month since I got into Arena Talent’s Spring Cohort, and just two weeks since I started networking with other people in sports. Here’s what’s happened so far…
My first EVER connection/meeting last Tuesday led to a Friday lunch meeting with an L.A.-based Production Executive who’s putting together a sports film festival in my home region (Seriously?! What are the odds?)
That lunch meeting led to an invitation for a private screening for the entire Mishawaka Iron Bulls organization. Now I just have to figure out how to put together a short film/hype trailer for our team and sponsors! 🎥
That same executive also gave me confidence and great advice on how to close sponsorships and encouraged me to look for more regional or national brands that love tapping into local markets. DraftKings was one of them. 🤯
There was more, but I’m not ready to spill the beans just yet! But trust me, you’re going to want to stick around to see how things unfold in the next couple of months!
